You Inspire Me!!! Gift Box!

Here today as a guest designer for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon. I am so excited about this little gift box I made for my Mother in law who is a big time runner. I don't know about you but it is sometimes almost impossible to find anything work out stickers or files and so when I seen this "Exercise Equipment" file I knew it was the one I needed to create with!!! I have so many ideas bursting in my head of what I can do with this file. But I tried to stay focused on my first idea and that was to get a jump start on a christmas gift for my mother in law. Yep CHRISTMAS lol, she is almost next to impossible to shop for because whatever she wants she usually just goes and gets it, which makes it hard to shop for her. So I made this little box with the file "Gift Box with Window " and I thought I could put a gift certicate in there for one of her favorite sites she likes to shop on for her running skirts. and maybe I will put a yummy protein bar or a GU energy packet. I am not exactly sure I am just happy to have this to check off my shopping list for this year. As you can tell I also made this a shaker window to add some fun and sparkle to this box and then tide some twine around it. Then I added some random sequins to the outside of the box to add a little dimension and who does not like more sparkle.Do you see how the water ball has some shine well I added some clear embossing to it to give that plastic bottle look. And last but NOT least I added the sentiment "You Inspire Me" from Cardz Tv stamp set "Mixed Messages" because my mother in law truly does inspire me with all the drive and dedication she has for her running and healthy life style. I am excited to see what else this journey will bring her in the years to come!!! I LOVE YOU TINA (she will not see this till Christmas, I hope)  So now on to a few pictures of my project.

Back To School Cards!!!

Hello here today to share some cute cards I created for my daughter's teachers this year. Ohhhhh what a long summer it has been. I am so thankful for what all these teachers do for my kids. So a card is the least I could do to show my appreciation. I am so excited how these both turned out. These cards are 6x6 and the adorable file is "School Rocks Kawaii"  from Too Cute by Jessica. She has been coming out with some amazing new files and I hope these cards inspire you to head on over and check out what else she has to offer. So now on to my cards.
With both of these cards I had very similar layouts. I created with a light grey and a light tan base.     Then layered it with a designer paper from my stash I believe it is from a DCWV stack. I then used one of my embossing folders to create the look of lined paper and then punched holes on the side to give the full effect. I also stamped both cards with the Craftin Desert Diva stamp set "School Zone" and added some sequins to both cards.

Card 1........

Don't you just love how the pencil and eraser are holding hands. Goodness they are too cute!!!

Card 2.........

This file set is way too fun and adorable!!!

Bee Cards For Any Occasion

So hello everyone!!! Sorry I have had so little post far apart. We lost my husband's grandpa at the beginning of July and it has been a pretty tough road!!! My husband and I have been the ones taking care of all his belongings and such. Things seem to be coming together but it has been hard for us to imagine life without him. Well I better stop now before I can't bring myself back together to write this for you all.
I have recently just been getting back into using my machine like crazy again and am so excited to share the projects I have been working on with you all in the next few weeks. Well on to my quick two cards I made using the file "Honey Pot Card" I only used the Bees from this file and ohhh my goodness I am in love with this file, I can't seem to get enough of it. These cards were super simple!! I just pieced the Bees together and then added glitter to them then cut my mat layers for the card and embossed a layer with my Sizzix Big Shot and then I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the border on the bottom and I got the sentiments from the fun Cardz TV stamp sets "Just Saying" and "Many Thanks"!!! I then did some fo-stitching and add some bling. I can't wait to send these cards out to hopefully put smiles on some peoples faces. So glad to be back and in full swing of some crafting. Keep a look out for what I have next for you!!! Thank you again for stopping by, can't wait to share another project with you!!!
