Hello everyone! So excited to share this card with you today because I used a new technique I learned from one of Jennifer McGuire's older videos! This Digi is from Craftin Desert Diva and is called "Stitches"! I colored him up using my Spectrum Noir markers and then after covered him up and the tombstone with rubber cement to mask him off so I could create a night sky and the grass hill with my Distress Inks. I also just cut out a mask for the moon and held it down while I blended some of the sky. After all my ink and paint splatters were dry I was able to rub off the rubber cement so easy and ta-da! I also outlined him with some of my grey markers to help him pop out of the background just a little more. The sentiment was from Craftin Desert Diva's stamp set "Sugar Skull Amor"! I have more coming your way using this awesome stamps set so stay tuned for that! For the Zombie mat I also used "Fancy Frame Dies". I hope you all enjoyed my card today. Thank you all for stopping by and I can't wait to share so much more with you!
Don't forget to stop by the Craftin Desert Diva's website and check out all the amazing other Digi's they have to offer!
Hello everyone! OMG I am super excited to share this card with you all for so many reasons! Well to start it off my sweet friend sent me her Fuse tool because she was downsizing and wow am I in love and can't wait to do so much more with it! My daughter is really wanting to create some shaker bookmarks for her friends (hopefully pictures coming soon)! OK ok ok back to my card! So I used two different sequins mixes in this from Craftin Desert Diva's called "Moonlit Kisses" and "Shimmer"! I ran the card base through a Tim Holtz embossing folder and inked up the edges with a white ink pad. The white layer is some watercolor paper that I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to create the dark night sky look. Then I heat embossed the sentiment from CDD stamp set "Sugar Skull Amor" with silver embossing powder and then layered up the shaker pocket on top. I then colored up this cute Digi "Flying By" with my spectrum noir markers and added some highlights with my white gel pen. So when I actually colored this up I printed her really large for my girls to color at the same time. Such an amazing way to get my girls involved and also so I can get some crafting in as well! I am so happy how this turned out and this Fuse tool just opened a whole new world for me to share with you all! I hope you all enjoy my card and head on over and check out all the cute Digi's Craftin Desert Diva's has!
Hope you all have a fabulous day! Thank you for stopping by!
Hello everyone! I am back with another project using the cute cute cute new Cardz Tv Stamp set "Gingerbread Christmas"! This set has been one of my favorites to play with lately! So I created this bookmark using my new Fuse tool to make a shaker out of it. First I took a piece of watercolor paper and stamped the coffee/cocoa cup all over in no certain pattern! I then colored them up with my Zig markers and added some swirls in the coffee with my white gel pens. I also splattered the whole thing with some water and let it sit for 20 seconds and lifted it off with a towel. I heat embossed the sentiment with some white embossing powder! Then stuck it in the sleeve and added some sequins in it that my sweet friend sent me. And last but not least I sealed it up with the Fuse tool!
Thank you all for stopping by today and don't forget to head on over to the Cardz Tv Gallery blog to check the inspiration out every day from all the fabulous ladies.
Hello everyone! I wanted to stop by real quick and share a card I created for the new Craftin Desert Diva's release event! This cutie is the "Raking Fall Fun" digi that will be free when the CDD event hits 75 "GOING"! She will also only leave it up for 24hrs when that happens. So make sure you go on over to the Facebook event HERE and click "going" so she will put the cutie up as a freebie! I also used the new digi "Fall Hall"! These digis are so much fun to play with! Not only are they super easy to size to whatever you desire but you can also mix and match them together to create a whole scene! I hope you join the Craftin Desert Design team with this release I seen the sneak peek picture in the event and OMG I can't wait plus I hear she will be doing other giveaways if she can get more people saying they are going! I almost forgot that I also used one of the newer sequins mixes "Pumpkin Spice"! And of course I used my favorite dies "Fancy Frames"! I hope you all enjoyed my card and I can't wait to share so much more with you!
Also if you are not already in the Craftin Desert Diva's Gallery you should really come on over and join the group! There is never a dull moment there and you will be truly inspired!
